Hope you had a great weekend! We have 3 full weeks of school left until Easter break. There are a lot of reminders this week:

Please Note

- The 3rd Trimester starts today. Report cards will be sent home next Tuesday.

- We will celebrate Mass on Tuesday at 9:00 am. All are welcome! Please do not dress tomorrow :)

- There is a general Home and School Meeting on Thursday night at 6:00 pm. The class with the highest attendance rate will win a free dress-down! Hope to see you there.

- There will be a Religion test on Thursday on Chapter 12. A study guide will be sent home today.

- There will be a reading and spelling test on Friday this week.

-Friday is a Dress Down Day! Please send in $1.00 to dress down. All proceeds will be donated to The Rising Together Alliance.

- Leprechaun traps can be brought in on Friday. The kids will share their traps with the class and tell how they will "hopefully" catch a leprechaun! If you could refrain some sending them in earlier that would be great. We don't have too much room to store them, thanks!

Week of March 6, 2022

Please Note

- The second trimester closes this Friday and I can assure you that this last trimester will FLY by. In this final trimester, we really focus on responsibility, independence, and self-control. We talk a lot about being "almost second graders" and what being in second grade entails. One of the best parts of teaching first grade is seeing the growth that each child makes in 9 short months. Thinking back from September until now they are completely different kids. I am sure you see it too :)

- Grades 2 and up will take the Terra Nova tests this week, but we will have a typical week.

- We will have a math test on money on Thursday. The kids have been doing really well with this and we will continue to practice this week to prepare for the test. A review will be sent home for homework on Wednesday.

- No school for students on Friday. Enjoy the long weekend!

- Don't forget leprechaun traps should be sent to school next Friday, March 17th.

- Have a great week!
