- First grade is collecting pasta sauce and penne pasta for Mercy Hospice. If you would like to donate please send your donations in by Monday, December 5th. Thank you, as always, for your generosity!

- The first trimester ends this Friday.

We start Chapter 13 this week and learn about season of Advent.

This week we will start our subtraction unit. We will learn that subtracting means to "take away." We will learn how to write number sentences and use pictures to help us solve problems. We will also use number lines and ten frames to help us solve problems.

Week of November 7th

Please Note

- We will have our monthly Mass on Tuesday, November 8th at 9:00. All are welcome to join!

- There is a Home and School Meeting Thursday night at 7:00pm in the cafeteria. We hope you can make it!

- SKS Got Talent is Friday night at 7:00pm in the gym!

- We will be going on our field trip on Friday! Students are to wear their gym uniforms. It will be a bit chilly so please make sure you send them in sweatshirts, sweatpants, and a jacket if needed. Please also send your child with a brown bag lunch (please no glass bottles).

- Veteran's Day is this Friday and we will be having a special ceremony in the school yard in the afternoon at 1:30 pm. If you have any family members or friends who served in the armed forces please send in a picture or index card with their name on it so we can honor them. All are welcome to join us too!
