 Please Note

-The Kind Minds presentation today was a great tool for helping the children understand their emotions and how those feelings can influence their thoughts and behaviors. Above are some pictures with key points you can use as discussion starters at home as well.

-There will be a Phillies Red and White DDD on Wednesday with Kona Ice at Lunch.

-This Friday, we will have a $1.00 DDD to support Faithful Families Service Projects.

-The SKS 3rd Grade Girl Scout troop is holding a book drive for SMdP’s school and classroom libraries. If you wish to donate, please drop off new and very gently used books in the marked bins outside of the school office and parish center from Friday, April 17, through Sunday, May 3.

-Here are some important upcoming dates for First Grade to put on the calendar:

  • Friday, May 1st - Grandparents/Special Friends Day, NOON Dismissal

  • Tuesday, May 12 - May Procession 6:30

  • Thursday, May 14 - First Grade School Mass 9:00

  • Friday, May 22 - Monday, May 25 - No School:  Memorial Day weekend

  • Friday, May 29th - First Grade Donuts with Dads/Special Friends

We will continue working with money by counting mixed coins up to $1.00, focusing on equal amounts and making given amounts.  We will have a money test this Friday.   When practicing at home, remember to start counting with the coins that are worth the most and count on from there.
